NESTON AND DISTRICT ART SOCIETY
The Neston and District Art Society was founded in October 1982, the first Committee formed in 1984 and the first Exhibition took place in 1986. The current format of the Society is for a meeting to be held every fortnight on a Monday evening, with a monthly demonstration/talk, followed two weeks later by a practical/social evening. Meetings are held at St Michael's Church, Little Neston, starting at 7.30pm and lasting approximately 2 hours. We hold an annual exhibition in Neston Town Hall, held every April, and usually arrange a day’s workshop during the year. We currently have a membership of around 90.
